Rastelli Raccordi manufactures 37° fittings for flared tubes in carbon steel and stainless steel in compliance with SAE J 514/ISO 8434-2. The particular features of the SAE J 514 – 37° fittings for ducts consisting of weldness, rolled-steel pipes guarantee a great level of mechanical assembly safety. – The fitting for pipes flared at 37° consists of three parts : fitting body nut and bush. – The flared end of the pipes is held between two coneshaped surfaces: body cone and bush. The seal is simply formed by means of a mechanical operation without any part being deformed – The bush is self-centering with a degree of clearance between the nut and the pipewich that ensures the correct alignment between the bush flare and the body cone and is therefore used as a ring to hold and support the pipe. – The fitting’s bursting pressure is far higher than the pipe one which is connected to. This feature giver a greater guarantee of safety.
