Description

For the distribution of products and goods on different conveyor lines, transfer cars are important components in the internal material flow. RBS offers a variety of transfer cars with different additional units. Depending on the task, they are individually adapted to the customer’s needs. RBS Transfer cars In the right place at the right time - transport of pallets, mesh boxes etc. with short throughput times! Industrial production depends on the right product being available at the right time and in the right place. On top of this, every company has its own individual requirements for the conveyor systems used for this purpose. In such an environment, transfer cars are used primarily for the efficient distribution of products and goods to workstations, buffer lines, shipping lanes, pre-storage areas, etc. Compared to automated guided vehicles (AGVs), transfer cars have the crucial advantage that they can bridge simple linear transport routes in a much more economical and efficient way. The RBS transfer cars are individually assembled from a modular system, which creates flexibility for individual adjustment. For example, models with mounted roller conveyors, chain conveyors or telescopic forks, with stationary or travelling drive are possible. With acceleration values of up to 1.5 m/s2 and speeds of up to 3 m/s2, the transfer cars ensure fast and safe goods transport. Drive power and structural dimensions depend on the respective transport weight. As a result, pallets with a weight of up to 1.2 t can be transported.
