The REMA polishing machines are especially characterised by their stable and practical oriented machine construction. The variety of different drive powers and the possibility to choose spindle speeds from 1200 to 3500 rpm. freely enables a machine configuration that meets the specific needs of the user. The machine type SMZ 57 has a drive motor which is integrated in the machine stand and can optionally be delivered in single or double station version. Both drive motors are installed on the machine stand exterior and can be switched separately. The drive motors of the series SMG 56 are likewise separately switchable, but the both drive motors are installed in the machine stand. All machine types are specially protected against the penetration of grinding dust and are equipped with maintenance-free spindle-bearings. At the ends, the cylindrical spindle shaft is equipped with internal threads for the mounting of mandrels and centres. To ensure ergonomic working conditions, the machines are delivered for sitting or standing working positions. With the extensive accessory and the optionally deliverable electronic, continuous speed control, the machines can be customized directly to the specific needs and fields of application.
