What is transmission haze?
Transmission haze is the scattering of light as it passes through a transparent material. It affects clarity, contrast and perceived quality of products viewed through films or sheets. Total transmission measures the fraction of incident light that passes through a sample, influenced by absorption and reflectance.

Transmission haze measurement
Haze quantifies forward light scattering caused by internal particles, inclusions or fine surface texture. Haze testing is used to control optical properties of plastics, packaging films and coated substrates where reduced clarity can affect product presentation or functionality.
