ISO 17025 high-gloss calibration tiles. These 100 x 100 mm tiles are intended as traceable checking standards for gloss measurement instruments. Available at any GU (gloss unit) on request and designed to support measurement traceability and instrument linearity.

Instrument accuracy may drift over time due to wear, environmental factors or shocks. Calibration tiles provide a traceable reference to verify instrument linearity and performance. Tiles stored under optimal conditions can still change gradually and should be re-calibrated periodically; a minimum 12-month interval for tile re-calibration is recommended. If a tile becomes scratched or damaged it must be re-calibrated or replaced to ensure accurate gloss readings.
