Overview
The MSI Dyna-Clamp is a clamp-on tension meter for rapid wire rope tension checks in outdoor and industrial environments. It accepts wire ropes from 3/16 in to 1.0 in (5 to 25 mm) diameter and provides direct tension readouts up to 12,500 lbf. The design includes a wire rope engagement window, an easy-turn power screw for secure clamping in the field, and a provision for a safety strap to prevent accidental drops.

Display and Operation
The Dyna-Clamp provides a large, scratch-resistant two-line LCD: the bottom line displays live wire rope tension and the top line is configurable to show diameter, average tension, or peak tension. Two programmable keys support user-defined functions (test, unit, print, scroll, actfun) while two permanent keys control power and zero. The unit is battery powered (two AA cells) and features user-selectable auto-off to conserve battery life.
