Overview
Multi Power2 (MP2 and M2X) is the evolution of Riello modular UPS platforms, providing higher power density, simplified integration for new and existing installations, improved operational efficiency and configuration flexibility to reduce upfront investment and operational costs. The modular architecture and multiple cabinet configurations allow adaptation to load demands to avoid oversizing and deliver optimal performance across operating conditions.

Key characteristics and functionality
The Multi Power2 platform supports hot‑swappable Power Modules available in different sizes and in silicon carbide (SiC) technology to reduce cooling needs and increase power density. Power Modules can reach up to 98.1% efficiency in ON LINE double conversion. The EFFICIENCY CONTROL mode activates only the required number of Power Modules to maintain high efficiency at low loads while preserving required redundancy. The system can operate up to 40 °C without derating and supports hot‑swap insertion of modules to increase power without interrupting the load. Multiple cabinet types (rear or top ventilation) and optional integrated modular batteries are available. Main components are modular and easily replaced to minimise on‑site intervention and downtime.

• PCM: very compact solution with integrated manual bypass.
• PC0: unit supplied without switches to simplify integration with existing electrical infrastructure; available with top ventilation.
• PCS: fully integrated with main input, bypass, manual bypass, output switches and top ventilation for straightforward installation.
• CBC 6: compact cabinet including internal backup time, manual bypass and integrated battery switch.
