Description
Non-vibratory rock breaking method by Powerking. The rock splitter uses multiple hydraulic pistons that push the rock toward the free face.

Working process

• Drill a hole with diameter > 80 mm Ø and depth 1-3 m using a crawler drill rig or a leg-mounted drill.
• Insert the power cylinders into the holes and then push the rock toward the free face.
• Total pushing force of 1,000-1,400 tonnes applied for 2-4 minutes; the rock will then split.
