The SW12S is a cutting unit for high thicknesses, suitable for use in textiles and technical fabrics. It reaches the highest level in technology and safety. The weight is only 3 kg, but it guarantees performance and reliability when cutting high thicknesses. The combination of blade and counter blade allows sharp and precise cutting without fraying. The silenced 180-watt motor combined with the high-strength bronze/steel gear couplings provides long-lasting stability. The 8-Edge 120 mm diameter blade allows cutting of any fabric up to 50 mm thick, even in multiple layers. The footplate of the SW12S is coated with Teflon® to ensure friction between the footplate and the material. It is possible to install this cutting unit on a rail system even in the tightest spaces. The push-button sharpening stone system allows sharpening of the knife edge in less than 10 seconds without removing the knife. This model is particularly suitable for cross-cutting (CrossCut), as it is equipped with an anchor flange that allows easy installation on fixed or automatic brackets. For the continuous trimming process, the SW12S model is also available in a left-hand (mirror) version as the SW12SSX model.
