• backward curved impellers • speed is variable using auto transformers • no condensate formation due to 2-chamber aluminium profile • discharge in any direction possible • extremely low noise Casing The housing consists of a frame made of an extruded aluminium profile with 2 chambers and plastic edges as well as double-skinned, 20 mm thick panels made of galvanised steel sheet metal with insulation made up of non-combustible, sound and heat-insulated glass wool mats. As standard, one casing wall is left open. Unoboxes are suitable for outdoor installation with appropriate accessories. Impellers Unoboxes up to size 450 have backward curved centrifugal impellers made of plastic with galvanised steel support plates. Fans with a size 500 and larger have backward curved high-performance impellers made of aluminium. The impellers are mounted directly on the rotors of the external rotor motors and are dynamically balanced on two levels with the rotor according to quality level G 2,5 / G 6,3 as per DIN ISO 21940-11. Electrical connection The terminal box is affixed to the motor housing and can be supplied with flying leads on request. Direction of rotation The direction of rotation of the impellers is standard clockwise rotation (seen from the suction side). Counter-clockwise operation will cause overload damage to the motor.
