Application Primary treatment of wastewater from residential buildings or that assimilable to domestic effluent (bars, restaurants, hotels,…). Crude sewage is carried to the septic tank where the slowing down of the flow allows the accumulation of the suspended solids on the bottom. Here an anaerobic fermentation process is triggered with the resulting solubilisation and synthesis of part of the suspended solids. Then, the treated wastewater is carried to the final discharge or to the secondary treatment. The tank needs to be inspected and subjected to periodic maintenance by specialised personnel.
