Overview
The RUD TECDOS TM turning device turns, rotates and tilts injection moulding tools, punching tools and forming tools weighing up to 64 tons (141,100 lbs). The compact, mobile unit does not require floor anchoring and can be moved by forklift. Remote control operation enables fast, safe and efficient handling of heavy tools in production and maintenance environments.

Key functions and operation
The TECDOS TM (tool turner / turning traverse / turning table) performs turning, rotating and tilting movements. It is remote‑controlled and designed for ergonomic use by a single operator, enabling quick repositioning of tools and reduced manual handling.

Construction and components / Accessories

• Platforms: bespoke platforms available on request to match tool geometry.
• Contact protection (optional): protective plate (yellow/black) to prevent operator access to the danger zone.
• Guard bracket (optional): hoop‑type bracket providing distance protection for front and rear zones.
