The body of this DAF is made of GRP (glass fibre reinforced polyester) with a stainless steel structure and designed to facilitate its transport in sea containers.
The internal distribution of Xcorpio by means of independent ducts and chambers favours the operation of the equipment and ensures its optimum performance. At surface level, its scraping system, made of stainless steel, operates by means of a very slow variable rotation Gear motor.
Xcorpio has a specially designed lamella block to increase its performance and, to purge its interior automatically, it uses a butterfly valve with a pneumatic actuator.
Its recirculated water pressurisation system consists of a centrifugal pressurisation pump, a pressure transmitter on the pump discharge, a venturi injector where the first water-air mixture is produced, a pressurisation tank with pressure measurement and all the pre-installed valve kit, Pneumatically actuated diaphragm pressurisation valves and a pneumatic control panel consisting of a regulating filter (0-8. 5 bar), pressure regulator (0-8.5 bar), flow switch and control solenoid valve block.
The equipment has a piston compressor for the required air needs, manual valves for the correct operation of the system and safety elements to stop the equipment in case of emergency.
