The PUR-EDI compact plant consists of high performance ion exchange filters, in GFRP, with automatic cleaning system, an electrodeionization module, of 5 and 1 micron microfiltration system, a feed system to the treatment of demineralization, a permeate control conductivity meter and the electrical panel for control and command of the treatment.
The purification compact plants by continuous electrodeionization designed by Salher represent an innovative technology for the production of high quality water. This demineralization system, which, due to its own operating cycle, does not require the use of regenerators such as acid and soda, is a treatment by which water with less than 0.1 μs / cm of conductivity can be produced in osmotized water. The residual silica concentrations can reach values of up to 1 g / l.
These plants are based on a compact structure on which there is a tank with a module of electrodeionization by electricity, selective membranes (cationic and anionic), ion exchange resins, a 1 micron microfiltration system, a feeding system to the filtration treatment, a conductivity meter to control the inlet and permeate, and the electrical panel board with PLC to control and command the treatment.
