Description

Wide Range of Standard Options Built for Reflectance Measurements Allows Specular and Diffuse Reflectance Measurements Allows for Fluorescence Measurements of Solid Samples Easy Coupling With Standard SMA Connectors Possibility of Choosing the Transmission Spectral Region Reflectance probes are used to obtain spectral information from fluorescence and reflectance measurements of surfaces and powders. A beam of light is sent from the light source through six illumination fibers to the sample and the fluorescence/reflectance is collected by a seventh fiber in the center of the probe tip that is coupled through a SMA 905 connector to the spectrometer. A lower measurement signal requires higher core diameter fibers to increase the illumination and improve the collection. Reflectance probes offered by Sarspec are available in both UV-Vis and Vis-NIR wavelength range and can be combined with our standard and multi-angle probe holder. Both standard and multi-angle probe holders are supplied with our innovative, sturdy, and flexible slide system for a fast and easy sample swap.
