Overview
AM-DESK pairs with collaborative robots and SCANOLOGY 3D scanners to perform automated, continuous 3D measurements of parts on shop floors, in labs and in field conditions. The station executes unattended inspection sequences and produces inspection reports by comparing measured 3D coordinates to CAD models.

Software
Includes DefinSight-Automation with an intuitive interface for human–machine interaction. The software supports multiple communication protocols to integrate cobots, multi-positioners and peripheral devices, enabling automated measurement workflows and remote operation.

Performance & Applications
Designed for automated inspection of casting, plastic and stamped parts and other components up to 100 kg. Typical uses: quality control, defect detection, reverse engineering capture, rapid prototyping and automated reporting on production lines and in labs.

Accessories & Deployment
Station weight ~75 kg with a footprint of ~1 m². Typical setup time about 5 minutes on 110–220 V mains; optional mobile cart for rapid relocation. Works with plug-and-play positioners to extend workspace and change measurement paths instantly. Note: AM-DESK Lite does not support connection to multiple positioners and does not support fully automated calibration.

Safety
CE marked; includes serial emergency-stop arrangement, audible and visual danger indicators, and controllable force/distance with servo-mechanism for safe operation. When integrated with cobots, supports multi-grade collision detection and sensor safety detection to halt operation in abnormal conditions.
