The MoldLine 205 BASIC from Schäfer is a handheld hotmelt molding system designed for applying hotmelt polyamides (PA) and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE/TPU) to technical components. It provides electrical insulation and mechanical protection for assemblies exposed to heat, dust or moisture, suitable for industrial production and R&D environments.

Applications
The MoldLine 205 BASIC comprises a control unit with melting tank and a handheld molding dispenser for rapid supply of molten material. Typical uses include free molding (potting) in housings, precise filling of small tool molds and short-run or prototype potting tasks.
