The molding machine MoldLine 2632 EXTENDED is a low-pressure hotmelt molding machine with a direct-feed 32 mm single-screw extruder, designed for overmolding technical components to provide electrical insulation and mechanical protection in automotive, electronics and sensor applications. It is engineered for high productivity in large batch production and for integration into automated production lines.

Innovative design
Low-pressure molding with a direct-feed single-screw extruder and three heating zones at the molding head. Compact, modular construction allows seamless integration with handling and feeding systems and supports line automation.

High energy efficiency and quality
Heating time below 20 minutes. Servo-motor driven closing device with adjustable closing force for reproducible clamping and optimized energy consumption. Optional optical process monitoring is available for quality assurance and traceability.

Modern user interface
Touchscreen HMI (STI 2015) with intuitive menus. Recipes for different applications can be saved and recalled. Multiple user roles, operating modes and networking functions enable flexible process control and remote supervision.

Compatible hotmelt materials
Designed for hotmelt polyamides and a range of thermoplastics: polyolefins, polypropylene, polyurethane, co-polyamides, co-polyesters, Santoprene, TPE, TPU, Elastollan, Hytrel and others on request.

High operator safety
Monitored protective devices: removal of protective covers interrupts the electrical safety circuit and stops the machine. The machine meets applicable European directives for mechanical and electrical safety as well as electromagnetic compatibility.
