These skips are specifically designed for use on major projects where high volume concrete pours are required such as dams, sea walls, large bases, etc. This skip is fitted with a clamshell discharge gate which is operated by two hydraulic cylinders. The hydraulic pressure comes from accumulators which are connected to the reinforced bale arm. The skip is self sufficient: as it is lifted, the weight transfers through links from the bale arm to the two hydraulic accumulators, thereby providing sufficient pressure to give 4 open / close cycles of the discharge gate. No external power source is needed. Capacity 2 700 to 10 500L. Options The skip can be supplied with either pendant or radio for remote operation of the gate.
