New OCR (AI) detector
The OCR detector uses deep learning to perform reliable optical character recognition in industrial conditions that challenge traditional rule‑based OCR. It reads letters, numbers and codes on reflective surfaces, low‑contrast backgrounds, curved or rotated text, and supports a wide range of fonts, sizes and layouts, increasing robustness and flexibility for automated inspections.

Calibration for SCARA and gantry robots
VISOR® 2.14 extends precise, user‑friendly calibration previously available for 6‑axis robots to SCARA and gantry platforms. It provides Hand‑Eye and Base‑Eye calibration options, supports automated repeatability tests, simplifies commissioning, and enables robust vision‑based automation for high‑speed assembly and handling applications.

Shared classifiers for AI inspections
Shared classifiers allow a trained AI detector to be reused across multiple inspection tasks, reducing setup effort and simplifying maintenance for recurring quality and completeness checks.

Industry 4.0 compatibility
New functions for communication, archiving and result processing increase flexibility in data acquisition, storage and transmission, improving traceability and enabling downstream analysis and integration with production IT systems.
