Automatic plastometer 6AELP0401

Short description
The proven plasticity sensor Plastometer is part of the NOVATRONIC moisture- and plasticity-control system for preparation and shaping in ceramic production lines. It measures mould pressure and, optionally, material temperature on extruders. Available in versions with or without displays and adaptable to different extruder types.

Key features

• Wear‑free design, adaptable to all extruder types.
• Configurations: pressure only; pressure + temperature; 1 or 2 integrated displays; 1 or 2 external displays (sets available).
• Standard outputs: pressure 4–20 mA (0–10 V optional). Temperature: Pt100 (0…100 °C) with 4–20 mA output.
• Connector: 5‑pole metal cable assembly; mating plugs must be ordered separately.
• Compact dimensions: Height 223 mm · Ø 40 mm · Cable length 150 mm.

Technical data overview
Pressure measuring ranges: 0…4 / 0…6 / 0…25 / 0…40 / 0…60 / 0…80 / 0…100 bar (special ranges 4…100 bar on request). Standard pressure output signal: 4–20 mA (0–10 V option). Temperature sensor: Pt100 mineral‑insulated, range 0…100 °C, output 4–20 mA. Plug: 5‑pole, cable assembly, metal version.
