Novatronic C2+is the new, enhanced version of the tried-and-tested control system Novatronic C2. Novatronic C2+ is based on PLC control and is designed to regulate individual processing machines. During development, the dimensions and parameter structure of the Novatronic C2 were used as a guide, meaning that it is simple to make a 1-to-1 swap between the two systems without a great deal of effort. Measurement of the power consumption of the selected unit is essential for the system to function. The Novatronic C2+ also offers the option to connect control variables (belt scale or humidity sensor at the infeed of the unit) or additional measurement variables such as pressure (via a plastometer, as an option with additional temperature measurement) or humidity at the unit outlet for the possible construction of cascade control. The Novatronic C2+ can be used to control up to three valves (1x impulse valve, 2x control valves). The water or steam can be added in a controlled manner or manually with separate release contacts. The Novatronic C2+ also offers two alarm contacts. If a selectable measurement or output value of the system is exceeded or undershot, a potential-free contact can be switched to indicate this state.
