    concentration, density, speed of sound

The LiquiSonic® Immersion Sensor 40-14 is the common sensor used for applications in non-hazardous areas in the chemical industry. It is an ultrasonic sensor used for concentration, density, sonic velocity, phase separation, and reaction monitoring. Whether inline and online, the sensor measures the concentration and density in liquid chemicals or other liquids.

The standard temperature of the liquid must be from -20 °C to 120 °C, while the pressure is at a standard 16 bar. The sensor material is built with a stainless steel material, but optional materials such as Hastelloy, Titanium, Tantalum, Zirkonium, sonel and others may also be used. The whole instrument is enclosed in a process housing IP65, including its 40mm-diameter sensor head and 14mm-diameter sensor bar.
