The SAFEMAG magnet system is equipped with three magnet rods in Neodymium version which are arranged in a triangular matrix to ensure best possible contact between product and magnet. Its outstanding ease of handling and cleaning are further positive features of this magnet separator. Further advantages of this magnet separator are its especially flat (60 mm) and sturdy design and its excellent magnetic power. The compact aluminium block design allows the installation of material loaders, mixing and dosing units directly on the magnet separator. With its special design the SAFEMAG does not allow any depositing of plastic granulate (which is important in case of a colour or material change). By way of adapting plates the SAFEMAG magnet system can be easily integrated in all kinds of systems. Function: With a magnetic force of 700 mT (7 000 gauss) at the effective surface, ferromagnetic particles are reliably separated, which reduces costly repair work and system downtimes. It is designed for inspecting different granulates up to a grain size of 6-8 mm at a temperature of up to 100°C in standing or slowmoving material columns.
