The
C-MEM™ membrane MBBR combines the advantages of MBR and MBBR technology in one integrated system. Biological wastewater treatment is carried out by suspended biomass and biofilm growing on mobile carriers, while solid-liquid separation is achieved by PFAS-free HDPE hollow fiber membranes. With a pore size of 0.02 μm, the system reliably removes up to 99.9999% (log 6) of bacteria, viruses, helminth eggs, and suspended solids. Closed cartridges allow low-maintenance operation, long service life, and fast cartridge replacement. The modular design enables flexible scaling for municipal and industrial applications as well as water reuse.
