Product description
The FireBirdie® was developed specifically for industrial applications where reliability, efficiency and ease of use are paramount. The tool enables continuous drilling and undrilling – even with long or pre-inserted blind rivet nuts. The drilling process starts automatically when pressure is applied, and undrilling is possible at any time. This ensures a smooth process and increases process reliability. For maximum control, three operating modes are available via the high-resolution display: force-controlled, distance-controlled or combined in ThreadSafe mode. This allows the FireBirdie® to be precisely tailored to the respective application and ensures consistently high quality and reproducible setting results. A particular advantage is the tool-free change of threaded mandrels and nosepieces. The setting sleeve can also be removed without tools by removing the light ring. The length of the thread mandrel can be adjusted by hand or with a spanner in a matter of seconds by simply turning the locking nut directly on the mouthpiece. This significantly reduces set-up times and simplifies use with changing rivet nut sizes. With a stroke of 15 mm and a setting force of 13 kN, the FireBirdie covers a working range up to M8 steel. The tool weighs only approx. 1.8 kg including the battery, making it particularly mobile and ergonomic. The FireBirdie® is manufactured in Germany.
