This system uses a shuttle device in combination with a manual forklift to separate the storage and transportation of goods. The wireless remote control shuttle car completes the cargo access function; the manual forklift performs the cargo transport function. The forklift does not enter the cargo storage area, only works at the end of the storage area, and the cargo is placed in the designated cargo space by the shuttle.
2. Pallet shuttle racking operational functions
FIFO: pallets moved to end position, storage and retrieval from opposite sides.
LIFO: pallets moved to the home position, storage and retrieval from same side.
Single Pallet In / Out: shuttle moves back to prevent damage when the fork lift truck prepares to enter the pallet with his forks.
Continuous store/retrieve pallets in/out of a lane.
Store/retrieve a specific number or all pallets in/out of a lane.
Move pallets to the picking face to create new free pallet spots at the loading side.
Shuttle runs under pallets to the opposite side in FIFO applications (shift home position).
Shuttle travels under pallets and counts the number of pallets.
