Portable hygrometer always available for rapid spot checks of trace moisture in gases and dry compressed air or continuous use. The large meter dial displays dewpoint temperature and water vapour to less than one part per million. Designed to operate at atmospheric pressure, the SADP has a guaranteed accuracy of better than one part per million of moisture in dry compressed air or process gas. The key to the SADP is the unique desiccant head and sensor assembly and AutoCal, which allow the sensor to remain dry between tests to provide a quick response. AutoCal is an important and unique function to SHAW dewpoint instruments. Allowing the user to ensure accuracy between laboratory calibrations by checking the span of the hygrometer and correcting for any deviation. SHAW precisely manufacture the sensor to saturate with water vapour at its design maximum. Performing AutoCal brings the sensor rapidly into equilibrium and ceases response to any further increase in moisture. Certified intrinsically safe for use in hazardous environments to ATEX and IECEx standards, including CE and UKCA approvals. With every SADP, SHAW supply a Certificate of Calibration traceable to National & International Humidity Standards at the National Physical Laboratory. The SADP is fully compatible with SHAW sample systems SU2, SU3 and SU4. Designed to provide ideal sampling conditions, ensuring sample pressure and flow are suitable for dew point measurement. The sampling arrangement allows extraction and analysis of representative samples of process air or gas before either venting off to atmosphere or returning to the process.
