Metal pendulum impact tester 150 - 750 J | PIT Series Type D

The PIT Series Type D is a pendulum impact tester for metals developed by Wance. It is mainly used for measuring the Charpy impact resistance of metal and other materials. The seat and column comes with one-body cast frame design for high stability and rigidity. It is supplied with symmetrical front and rear columns, high rigid pendulum arm to prevent axial and transverse vibrations, and round pendulum head design to reduce windage losses. The system is equipped with exchangeable pendulum that is easy to change to satisfy impact energy of 300J, 450J, 600J, and 750J. In addition, the unit has electromagnetic clutch for braking the pendulum and lifting to its initial position, and equipped with damper to prevent strong bump when clutching.
