Materials analysis software LabSolutions™ ICPMS Ver. 2

Overview
The new version of LabSolutions™ ICPMS software consolidates all essential analysis information into a single customizable window to simplify workflow for new users while retaining configurable options for complex applications and research. The interface facilitates efficient control, monitoring and postrun review of ICP‑MS data.

Analysis Window
The configurable analysis window can display the current sample profile, registered samples, analytical results, errors and instrument status simultaneously. Analysis progress is visible at a glance. Window layouts are user-configurable and an assistant bar on the left guides users through each step of the analysis workflow in the correct order.

Instrument Status Window
The instrument status window presents comprehensive information on the instrument and accessories in a clear layout. Warning indicators appear for instrument errors and when parts approach recommended maintenance or replacement intervals, enabling proactive upkeep.

Automatic Internal Standard Monitoring
Internal standard fluctuations can be displayed graphically over the full analysis time as intensity or intensity ratio relative to a reference sample, helping to quickly identify matrix effects or analytical complications.

Simple and Descriptive Maintenance Window
The maintenance information and settings window shows operation times for key components and issues automatic alerts when maintenance or part replacement is recommended, removing guesswork from maintenance planning.

LabSolutions ICPMS TRM (Optional)
When combined with LabSolutions ICPMS TRM, Shimadzu LC‑ICP‑MS systems can perform speciation analysis (e.g., arsenic, mercury). The TRM module controls and configures both LC and ICP‑MS systems from a single platform.

LabSolutions™ CS Supports Laboratory Networking
Adding an optional LabSolutions™ DB/CS connection kit enables centralized data management and support for electronic recordkeeping and electronic signature regulations (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11). Choose a standalone (LabSolutions DB) or networked (LabSolutions CS) configuration. LabSolutions CS stores analytical data on a network server so data can be loaded and postrun analysis performed from any networked PC. Note: an additional software license is required to load data on a PC not connected to an ICPMS-2040/2050 Series system; terminal services or Citrix XenApp may be required for certain client setups.
