Standard Automation Solutions
The standardized automation solution of RobotScan Series is designed to meet typical inspection demands in modern manufacturing. It supports both high-precision fringe projection scanners and handheld laser scanners.

Highlighted configurations and use cases
  • RobotScan Q12 — Targets fine-detail components (airfoils, brackets, connectors, gears, housings, electronic components). Designed sensor for small-sized part measurement with complex surfaces or sharp edges. Suited for injection molding, die casting, investment casting and CNC parts. Offers automated optical 3D measurement with high repeatability and fringe projection technology for best accuracy and high-detail data.
  • RobotScan UE Pro2 — Suited for small and medium sheet metal parts, casting housings, machining parts and mold components. Strong material adaptability (including black, shiny and reflective surfaces). Provides wireless and wired connectivity for flexible on-site installation. Uses handheld laser technology suitable for shopfloor environments with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • RobotScan Combo+ — Cost-effective automated 3D scanning for batch inspection of small-to-medium castings and machined parts; supports mixed-size components such as covers, trim pieces, assemblies and medium casings.


Control & Inspection Software
  • RobotScan Control — Professional automation software to control collaborative robot arms, servo turntables and 3D scanners. Enables complete workflow execution from path programming to 3D scanning and inspection via a process-oriented, intuitive interface to improve automation efficiency and stability.
  • SHINING3D Inspect — Industrial inspection software (PTB-certified) that processes high-accuracy 3D scan data for detailed 3D comparison, measurement and inspection report generation. Delivers reliable, traceable inspection results that meet manufacturing quality-control requirements.


Customization and components
RobotScan Series offers fully customizable configurations including robotic arm (multiple brands and specifications), SHINING 3D metrology-grade scanners, turntables, fixtures, PLC systems, software modules and robot rails. Supported robot brands: Huayan Robotics; Universal Robots (UR); FANUC; DOBOT Robotics. Turntables and rails can be tailored for load capacity, diameter, rotation modes and working envelope to match specific production environments.
