OverviewThe UT Tarp System™ is a manual tarp system engineered for trailers and truck bodies. The kit includes a pre-assembled crank handle and supports an adjustable overall width from 2180 mm to 2640 mm. For installations narrower than 2180 mm, the roll tube(s) can be cut to size. The kit mounts directly to existing bearing plates or, where no mounting points exist, includes mounting plates and fasteners for secure installation.
OperationSimple and secure manual operation using a locking-sprocket crank. Compatible with common tarp materials such as HD mesh, Asphalt Lumite and PVC vinyl. To cover: pull the tarp to the rear of the body and tie off the pull rope to the provided brackets; the locking-sprocket crank secures the tarp. To uncover: untie the pull rope and retract using the crank handle. One-piece and three-piece pullbar assemblies are available to suit different body types.
Health and Safety / ComplianceSecuring devices are designed for quick, ground-level operation and to comply with relevant health and safety regulations, minimising the need for working at height during normal tarp operations.
Replacement partsReplacement tarps and spare parts for the UT Tarp System™ are stocked for rapid supply. Technical documentation and support files are available in the product Downloads section to assist maintenance and installation.
