Description

TP200 is a tipping bucket rain gauge for the measurement of the rain with a collecting area of 200 cm², extremely precise and suitable even for latitudes where high rain intensities are frequent (monsoon or tropical rains). The tipping bucket consists of a v-shaped element, designed to minimize friction and facilitate the oscillating action, involving benefits in the accuracy even with heavy rainfalls. The TP200 can be supplied in three different versions, the TP200-N with impulse output without any type of signal conditioning, the TP200-ISR and the TP200-12, both equipped with a signal conditioning electronics that reduces measurement uncertainties at high intensities of precipitation (both for intensity and amount values). TP200-ISR version makes available on a single connector the contact output (rainfall amount), the current output (intensity) and the Modbus serial output with software corrections included (both intensity and amount). The version TP200-12 has the same characteristics of the sensor TP200-ISR, with the difference that the physical and logical output protocol is the standard SDI-12. The rain gauge in version TP200-N is also available on heated version, powered at 24V (alternating or direct current). TP200 is supplied with power and signal cable (12m).
