The QESCTP is the new Siap+Micros branded cabinet for housing the electronic components of the data-acquisition unit. The enclosure has been accurately sized in order to cover the majority of the field applications in terms of power supply to the monitoring station; in fact, beside the datalogger and the data transmission system, the box can house a battery up to 38 Ah and is equipped with a specially sized bottom plate. Moreover, the box can be provided with an integrated solar panel with a power of 20 W. This feature is very useful for installations in remote areas where thefts of the solar unit can happen frequently. The SCTP01 is made of a special mix of polymide and glass shperes which ensures a high protection from the external environment also thanks to its anti-UV protection. The unit is IP66 certified and is equipped with a key lock.
