Product overview
The T066-HT hail sensor is a very low-power, maintenance-free, fully sealed acoustic detector with no moving parts. It detects hailstones from 0.5 to 7.5 cm in diameter and is designed to withstand extreme hail events. The sensing element is a three-layer polished stainless-steel disc mounted on an unbreakable stainless-steel arm. Impacts of hailstones (or other lithometeors with similar kinetic energy) generate measurable changes in internal acoustic pressure.
