Automatic machine for the realization of a helical thread on wooden bars. The machine is equipped with one loader where it is possible to place both round and square bars. By means of a conveyor one bar at a time is unloaded and clamped between centre and tailstocks; at this step the bar begins to turn and the thread is made based on the data inserted in the PLC (feeding speed, cutter’s RPM, thread pitch). Once the bar is worked, it is automatically unloaded, while a new one arrives in the working position.
