The electronic, mains-independent impeller-type meters with their compact design are measuring devices for the physically correct acquisition of energy consumption. The meters have a static temperature measurement cycle (36sec). This allows precise energy measurement even with rapidly changing temperature and volume flows. They are available as wall-mounted versions in different sizes for heat and combined heat/cooling energy metering.
The devices consist of flow measuring section, 2 ready connected temperature sensors and a processor which – based on flow rate and temperature differential – calculates the energy consumption.
The consumption values can be read out either on the meter itself or from a remote location. Using modules, the noncommunicating meters (WF.50..) can be upgraded for readout via AMR/walk-by (WFZ662 / WFZ662C) or M-bus (WFZ51).
In addition to modules, the meters with M-bus communication (WF.54..) are equipped with 2 pulse inputs for reading out 2 water meters (Reed contact).
The WF.5.. are used primarily in plants with central production of heat or heat and cooling energy, where the energy is supplied via zones to several individual consumers in the building.
The meters are supplied with Operating and Mounting Instructions in the following languages:
Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Slovakian, Slovenian, Spanish and Turkish
