Because of the special production process, sintering guarantees endless combinations of materials and shapes, with low environmental impact and excellent technical characteristics.
Let's examine it step-by-step:
• we start from the customer's design, possibly optimizing it by the design office, which uses 3D CAD design and 3D integrated with CAM for mold construction; whenever possible, the very large number of molds available - at no cost - in the mold warehouse/storage facility are used
• Quality and production process data collection is fully computerized to ensure repeatability and product consistency
• due to high process productivity and precision (even for complex geometries), very low scrap, and no grinding operations, convenience is high and delivery time fast
• in case of special design requirements/characteristics (particular porosity, low weight, self-lubricating properties, materials that cannot otherwise be mixed), sintering is the only possible route, but also in many other cases it is competitive against the more complex--and expensive--traditional methods
• high mechanical properties + low cost + environmentally friendly: a formula that is very difficult to imitate (no pollutants or harmful by-products, low energy consumption, zero swarf, several recycled raw materials)
• the fleet of machines-continually updated-is one of our winning weapons: we use-among others-heated matrix compaction, sinterotempra, and high-temperature vacuum sintering
