In poetry the “metre” measures the verse, in the world of boring/reaming this machine tool model machines it. 1000 millimetres of diameter machinable with the Ws5 in any condition; innovative design ideas and technical intuitions make it capable of tackling the most demanding operations. The axial feed is unlimited. A simple yet effective system allows to recover the 250 mm (9.84”) feed step, without changing the radial and axial position of the cutting tool, maintaining the set dimension and without leaving marks on the machined surface. For this purpose, the tool holder shafts have a patented conical connection which allows them to be connected to each other precisely, to cover long machining operations and/or to reach machining points far from the machine body. With the standard configuration the diameter of the WS5's shaft is Ø 80 mm and we supply two connectable boring shafts with conical coupling, that will allow to cover a length of 3.135 mm (measuring 1.135 mm + 2.000 mm). Their chrome-plated surface makes them solid and wear-resistant, as well as it optimizes their sliding inside the machine and holders. Also, the machine tool can be equipped with the KIT 2000 (facing head) and the KIT 250, that allows machining operation starting from a diameter of Ø 42 mm. Drive unit weight: Kg. 96
