Description

Fully electric Safety Brake KSE 18. September 2024 At this year’s trade show MOTEK in Stuttgart from October 8th to 11th, SITEMA has presented a world first: the fully electric safety brake KSE. It can be used to secure loads of up to one ton 100% electrically. The TÜV-tested safety concept enables use in applications up to Performance Level e. For the market launch immediately after MOTEK, SITEMA is offering two sizes: on a rod diameter of 16 mm for securing loads of up to 250 kg, and on a rod diameter of 22 for loads of up to one ton. Anyone who knows SITEMA’s unique SiForce clamping principle, which has been tried and tested for decades, knows that a safety factor of more than two is already included. The mechanical part of the KSE safety brake is exactly the same as that of our bestseller, the pneumatic safety brake KSP. What’s new is the electric drive to release the clamp instead of the pneumatic piston, and a specially developed control unit with the highest safety level, the new SITEMA SiBox.
