Fixed Activated Sludge Treatment is what the patented FAST Process stands for. For variable flow and load conditions, the FAST Process is a fixed-film aerobic treatment system. It consists of tankage that is packed with media that is completely submerged and proven in thousands of worldwide installations. Combined with internal settling zones, the FAST media creates high surface area-to-volume rations thus maintaining the constant growth of bacteria during peak and low flow usage. In a minimal space FAST provides high performance treatment with factory-built or field installed modules. in hospitality venues, public facilities, and small developments like schools handles smaller and variable flows generated from onsite applications.
