The Sormac wet bunker NB is particularly suitable for buffering potatoes after scraping or peeling. The infeed is lateral, preventing the product from falling on the carriers, so it falls directly into the water instead. The product is transported from the wet bunker to, for example, an inspection table by means of a PVC slide chain and swanneck. The bunker has a spray pipe on the outfeed side for rinsing a buffered product. In addition, the spray pipe acts as a fresh water infeed. For protection, a safety rack has been mounted on the bunker. Capacity The buffering capacity is about 150 to 200 kg of product.
