Sovatec automatic looms, designed for processing of high-strength steel wire with high carbon content, allow the weaving of extremely robust mesh with a very low empty / full ratio. These mesh, used in many industrial sectors like agro-industry and mechanic industry, are realized with wires from 1 mm diameter and opening as low as 1.25 mm. All wires, both in warp and weft, are pre-crimped before weaving, so they can ensure the maximum accuracy and stability. Some of these qmesh can be realized with a square section. They are especially used in agro-industrial processes and are called “wheat brush screen”.
