Description

Overview

The Galaxy S1 is a lightweight unmanned surface vessel (USV) engineered for hydrographic and nearshore survey operations. It combines a composite hull with a modular payload bay and autonomous navigation to support a range of survey sensors.

Key features

  • Composite hull designed to reduce weight and facilitate transport
  • Modular payload bay compatible with multibeam echosounders, single‑beam, side‑scan sonar, ADCP and magnetometers
  • Autonomous waypoint navigation with GNSS support and optional RTK
  • Open architecture for sensor integration and remote telemetry
  • Compact design for rapid deployment from small vessels or shore

Applications

  • Hydrographic surveys and bathymetric mapping
  • Seabed mapping, pipeline and structure inspection
  • Environmental monitoring and shallow‑water survey campaigns

Logistics & operation

  • Transportable and launchable from small boats, davits or shore
  • Configurable mission endurance and payload depending on sensor suite
  • Ground control station for mission planning, telemetry and live data monitoring

Options & compatibility

  • RTK GNSS, satellite or radio telemetry links
