Locking is achieved by the deformed coils of the braked FILTEC® thread. Advantages: replaces and eliminates pins, nuts, elastic washers, adhesives, etc. Withstands dynamic loads, vibrations, shocks, corrosion. Retains self-locking effect even after several tightening and untightening operations (minimum guaranteed: 15 times). Perfectly symmetrical, can be screwed on either side.
