The robot is integrated in a box installed in front of the machine and picks workpieces from a pallet. The pallet is mounted on a 180 degree swing table to have a second pallet outside of working area to change the pallet while machine is working. The working area of robot is open and protected by laser curtain. Once operator enters the curtain the robot is slowed down and stopped. A very flexible solution for small batches mostly for sawed blank material to replace operator who puts workpieces in and out only In several SPINNER machines a Robot can be integrated inside the machine or on top of the machine directly. Those are flexible but performing solutions with shorter cycle time as the operator door doesn't need to be opened for loading and the operator is not limited by the robot. The process is quick and can be watched through normal front door.
