PT100 / PT1000 Temperature Converter S2C-3 with USB & RS-232
The S2C-3 sensor signal converter is a compact signal conditioner for PT100 and PT1000 resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) and enables the direct connection of two temperature sensors to PC-based systems. Via USB or RS-232, the device communicates reliably with the connected computer or controller using Modbus RTU.
The converter features galvanic isolation between the power supply and the load side. With a test voltage of 1 kV, safe, floating signal transmission is ensured. This makes it ideal for industrial measurement environments, laboratory applications, and test benches.
Thanks to its robust industrial housing, the S2C-3 is suitable for continuous operation in demanding environments. The free data acquisition software for Windows allows quick commissioning without any programming knowledge. For custom applications, software drivers including programming examples for C# and LabVIEW are available.
