Description

Staedler Automation AG designed, developed and commissioned a picking system for beverage bottles for a customer. Beverage bottles are fed in sorted on four feed lines that enter the machine in a single lane. A gripper system picks up individual bottles with the different products and places them into a corresponding box. Pluggable connections shorten changeover times, and the gripper is the only element that needs to be changed to run different bottle formats. The control system can recognize the gripper installed and will set the correct recipe automatically. A performance of up to 240 cartons/h can be achieved depending on the freely adjustable deposit pattern.
