567 Series Optocouplers for the galvanic separation of intrinsic safety (EXi) circuits, Isolation voltage min. 4 kVDC, cutoff 500 kHZ, ATEX Certified (11ATEX 0086, DIN EN 60062). Insulation resistance input /output up to 10^13 Ω. Distance between input and output for highest safety requirements up to 14 mm. Galvanic separation and minor coupling capacitance between input and output circuit. Analog & digital signal transfer is possible. Minor output delay times compared to relays. Long life due to non mechanical wear. Magnetic fields do not impact operation. A photo-diode makes for very short cycle times. Able to invert the output signal during transfer.
