The BSC 50/450 is a versatile belt grinder end effector for fully automated grinding. It can perform almost any grinding operation from rough grinding to finishing for flat and curved surfaces. It can load automatically new belts from the SBM belt magazine and unload it when are wared out. Any Suhner belt with width 50mm and length 450mm can be used. Other belt sizes may be adapted on request. As the other Suhner end effectors, this belt grinder has a blank mounting plat that can be adapted to any robot flange and it runs with the standard motor controller from Suhner, controlled through digital I/Os.
